Visit the Clendenin Branch Library.

Libraries are more than the stories of books and knowledge. They are the cornerstone of neighborhoods and communities.

The downstairs of the Koontz Annex is now the new home of the Clendenin Branch Library under the direction of 30 years+ librarian Tammy Parker, the Clendenin Advisory Board and the main Kanawha County Public Library. This library has the second highest circulation per capita in Kanawha County.

The Clendenin Branch Library offers a monthly schedule of events and programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors. From book signings, historical speakers, summer book club, holiday events, STEM activities, new book titles, reference materials, computers, free wi-fi, and a charming children’s area--you can find it all at the Clendenin Branch Library.

Also, the library has a 24-hour Library Kiosk located across from Butterworth Discovery Park at 1 Cardinal Street, where books can also be checked out or retrieved after hours.
